When the Soul Wants to Fly

If I can’t fly with my body I’ll let my soul escape.

This is what Tokyo in Money Heist often said — and the line has stayed with me ever since.

We can be at home, stuck in a nine-to-five job, yet our soul can be wandering among the mountains — driving into the unknown, taking those inviting routes, and exploring new places.

Often, the Journey is better than destination !

The journey across roads — zooming through bustling cities, coiling around mountains, or gliding past green fields — always feels so inviting. Every road, every turn can take us somewhere new. National highways lead to smaller ones, which lead to lanes, to little colonies untouched and unexplored by us.

The milestones along the road, the billboards with arrows pointing to different places — they guide us toward our destination. But what if, for once, we forget where we intend to go, and simply follow the directions our heart chooses? Imagine — how beautiful life would be.

Our True Calling

The truth is, it’s not the roads calling us, or the mountains — it’s our soul calling us to fulfill what it truly yearns for.

It’s not the billboards or milestones guiding us, it’s our heart gently showing us the way to our own fulfillment.

It isn’t just the desire to travel that unsettles us — it’s the craving to be our true self that refuses to let us settle for less.

A place where we are understood and accepted just as we are — that is our true calling. Until then, we are all wanderers.

Maybe that’s who we truly are, and maybe that’s what we truly crave —
To roam freely,
To let our soul fly,
To explore our truest self.

Because sometimes, being lost is how we truly find ourselves.
